The Pequeno Príncipe Hospital, the largest exclusively pediatric hospital in Brazil , is one of the institutions supported by us. With more than 100 years of history, the Hospital offers 70% of its capacity to serve the SUS and, even with the enormous challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, carried out in 2020 more than 159 thousand outpatient visits , 12 thousand surgeries and 240 transplants , benefiting children and adolescents across the country.
A national reference in pediatrics, Pequeno Príncipe is a complete hospital. In addition to serving 32 medical specialties and be recognized as a integrated diagnostic and treatment center , alongside the Pelé Pequeno Príncipe Research Institute and the Pequeno Príncipe Colleges, a pediatric complex, synergistically combining assistance, research and teaching in favor of the cause of children’s health.
The partnership between Packem and Pequeno Príncipe completed 2 years in 2021, the year in which we supported the For the Right to Life III , a project that aims to make the right to life and health of children and adolescents effective through the association between hospital and outpatient care; investment in technological innovation and scientific research; and training of health professionals and dissemination of knowledge.
